X Factor Finalists To Perform Duets With Musical Stars

As the nation’s number 1 singing show reaches its spectacular climax this week,  the three finalists in the competition – Luke Friend, Nicholas McDonald and Sam Bailey – will be duetting with host of famous musical stars in one last bid to impress, as they battle it out to be crowned winner of The X Factor 2013 and land a life changing record contract.

Sam Bailey will be joined on the Wembley stage by X Factor’s very own judge, and international pop-superstar Nicole Scherzinger for an exclusive performance of the iconic ballad ‘And I Am Telling You’.

Big Stars Line Up To Perform At The UK X Factor Final

As this year’s X Factor draws to a close with the series spectacular Live Final at Wembley Arena, a whole host of A list musical superstars and pop icons have been lined up to perform and celebrate the biggest night in music television.

In a worldwide exclusive X Factor’s very own Gary Barlow will be joined by Britain’s biggest music icon, platinum-selling and multi award winning Elton John, to perform their new single ‘Face to Face’. 

Joining them will be global superstar Katy Perry, who wowed audiences earlier in the series with her performance of her hit single ‘Roar’. For the final she will be singing her latest track ‘Unconditionally’. Global phenomenon One Direction also return to the show where it all started for them, celebrating a whirlwind year having achieved massive global success; including 35 million worldwide music sales, a No. 1 Box Office movie and a whole host of awards. The boys will perform their brand new single ‘Midnight Memories’.

Completing the star studded line up are international smash hit stadium rock band The Killers, who will be performing some of their most loved hits ‘Mr Brightside’ and ‘Human’, and singer-songwriter Tom Odell, who will crown off a year which started with him winning this year’s BRITs Critics Choice Award and then saw his debut album reach No 1.

The X Factor Live Final takes place across Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December. The Killers and Tom Odell will perform on Saturday, with Gary Barlow and Elton John, Katy Perry and One Direction performing on Sunday.

Syco Entertainment Will Split Profits From The X Factor Winner’s Single Between Two Charities

This year’s X Factor winner’s single will be released in aid of two charities.

Syco Entertainment will split profits between Great Ormond Street Hospital and Together for Short Lives.

The charity single will be digitally released on 15 December and in stores on 18 December.

The two finalists will perform their prospective winner’s singles during the live final, with the song available to download once the winner is crowned.

Simon Cowell, said: “Every day they (the two charities) do inspiring work and help a load of kids and their families, all of which need their expertise and support.

“I have been lucky enough to see first-hand the great work that both of these charities do and I am thrilled that we can do something to help by donating the sales of The X Factor winner’s single to them both.”
