IN CINEMAS WORLDWIDE FOR ONE WEEKEND ONLY ON 11TH & 12TH OCTOBER 2014.

In a surprise announcement last night, One Direction announce a film of their ‘Where We Are’ concert will be in cinemas worldwide for one weekend only on 11th & 12th October.

The concert was recorded at the iconic San Siro Stadium in Milan, and the cinema release will also include 15 minutes of never before seen footage of the band.

The film was produced by Simon Cowell and it’s been revealed that there will be more than 10,000 screenings worldwide, so there should be more than enough opportunities to catch it once or twice before it heads to DVD.

One Direction were filmed for the duration of their concert in San Siro stadium in Milan, Italy and along with footage of the gig, the film will also feature clips of the singers backstage before and after the show.

A source close to the band said “This could become the biggest concert movie ever — there’s going to be more than 10,000 screenings internationally.

“So many 1D fans didn’t get the chance to buy tickets to the band’s show because the stadium tour sold out – but this means no one will have to miss out.”
