Simon Cowell Shares Some Fun At Work With His Head of PR Ann-Marie.

Simon Cowell was clearly in a jovial mood as she spent time with Ann Marie Thompson in Beverly Hills in between attending to business.

AnnMarie has worked with Simon for nearly a decade and is Syco’s global head of media.

The pair have a great relationship and a few years ago when asked why he hired her he said it was because ‘she understands the relationship that I like to have with the media — a close one. A lot of publicists treat the media like enemies, which is ridiculous because the media makes you. She respects press.’

Discussing her own role, Ann-Marie revealed: ‘I help manage how much is actually possible because he’s running a business and running TV shows.

‘Simon knows I’ll always tell him the truth and get straight to the point and vice versa. You’ve got to have that.’

Simon Cowell Takes His Cam-Am-Spyder Bike Out For A Spin

He’s a big fan of his boys’ toys, and it looks like Simon Cowell just couldn’t wait to go for a ride on his Cam-Am Spyder.

Simon hopped on the three-wheeled vehicle, which will’ve set him back around £30k, with no shoes on – simply wearing his trademark uniform of light coloured jeans and a tight white t-shirt.

Zooming up and down the road outside his Los Angeles mansion, he looked thrilled to be astride the special motorbike and flicked a peace gesture to the waiting photographers.

The silver and black super-hero style vehicle is the latest in a long line of fast cars and big boy toys Simon has splashed his hard-earned cash on.

Simon has something of a penchant for anything fast, slick and shiny – he’s been spotted out and about in Los Angeles over the last few days in various expensive high-end super cars.

The latest Cam-Am is the one of the only vehicles the music mogul own with just three wheels; he owns a fleet of sports cars including a one-off Jaguar Eagle Speedster.

Simon Cowell Goes Eco-Friendly With An All Electric Car

Simon is known for his love of luxury cars and this new one is no exception. Simon was spotted in Los Angeles driving a Tesla Model S fully electric sedan.

Many eco-conscious celebrities are known to own a Tesla Model S vehicle with the likes of Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Cameron Diaz all being pictured driving around in the zero emission car, while Leonardo DiCaprio has also been seen with the Tesla roadster.

The Tesla Model S was named the 2013 Motor Trend Car of the Year.

The luxury four-door sedan hatchback won rave reviews from critics who have compared its handling, speed and efficiency to well known brands such as BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz.

We are unsure if Simon was test driving the car or now owns it.

Charles Garland Steps Down From His Position As CEO At Syco Entertainment

Charles Garland has announced that he is leaving Syco Entertainment, Simon Cowell’s joint venture with Sony Music, of course, which includes the Syco TV business and record label.

Garland was promoted from his previous role at Syco, COO, to take the top job in 2012, having joined the company in 2011. He previously worked for then ‘Idol’ owner 19 Entertainment and ran his own band-brands partnership agency.

Announcing his departure, Garland said: “I leave the business in magnificent shape and poised for further growth. Throughout my career I have always been keen to push on and seek out new challenges and for me now is the right time to do so”.

Cowell added: “Charles is a true gentleman and a very talented executive. And I now wish him well with his future plans”.

Simon Cowell Take His New Car For A Spin In Los Angeles

Simon Cowell takes his £650k sports car for a solo sunset drive after roaring Britain’s Got Talent success.

When the sun’s shining, there’s no better way to see the sights of Los Angeles than from the driver’s seat of a vintage sports car.

It would seem Simon Cowell, 54, agrees with that sentiment as he took one of his fleet of sports cars out for a spin in his classic Jaguar, on Sunday evening.

And it’s no wonder he’s still smiling, as, not only is he driving one of the most beautiful cars in the world, but returning talent show Britain’s Got Talent hit dizzy new heights with viewing figures as it premiered on Saturday evening.

The show, which searches for an act to perform at the Royal Variety Show,  scored its highest rating launch episode ever with 11.1 million viewers  at the weekend.

The ITV1 talent show boasted a 47 per cent share last night as series eight got under way with laughs, tears and an owl act.

Prior to this, the highest launch audience for Britain’s Got Talent was 2010, when the opening episode attracted 10.6 million viewers.

Despite being on TV in the UK it would appear Simon’s enjoying some time in the sunshine in Los Angeles – having flown out last week.

Lauren Silverman, his current girlfriend, and the couple’s son seven-week-old Eric were seen jetting to New York the same day.

The Jaguar Eagle Speedster set the music mogul back a whopping £650k; multi-millionaire Cowell ordered the super-rare car after watching Jeremy Clarkson drive it on Top Gear.

With 310bhp coming from its 4.7-litre engine, the Jaguar will accelerate from 0-60mph in less than five seconds and hit a top speed of more than 160mph.

Wearing a standard grey t-shirt and his trademark black aviators, 54-year-old Simon looked laid-back as he went on his solo ride through town.

When he picked up the keys to his sparkling new sports car in March, he tweeted: ‘I think this may be the most beautiful car in the world. It’s made by Eagle. Thank you Henry, Paul and the team.’

Simon Cowell and the judges attend the Britain’s Got Talent Press Launch – with their dogs!

We attended the Britain’s Got Talent press launch in London yesterday, including the red carpet arrivals and even got to stroke Squiddly and Diddly.

Watching the show due to air on Saturday night we can say it is it a great one, don’t miss it, laughter, tears and everything in-between..

A dancing dog won Britain’s Got Talent just two years ago.

And the judges have hinted there could be more animal magic in the air on this year’s show as all four panellists, Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams took their pet pooches with them to the press launch of the show’s eighth series on Wednesday afternoon.

Simon led the way as he took his mischievous canines Squiddly and Diddly onto the red carpet at LSO St Luke’s in east London.

One of the pups was clearly living up to their playful reputation as he left a little present on the red carpet after failing to control his bladder.

In true Britain’s Got Talent style, Simon’s pair of pooches wore Union Jack coats for their day out in the limelight.

David also took his dog Bert along for the day and he proudly posed for photographers with his pet pooch.

David held Bert up for the cameras and he also had a picture taken with the canine alongside two men in Grenadier Guards costumes.

Alesha appeared to be doing her best impression of Ashleigh Butler – who won Britain’s Got Talent in 2012 along with her dancing dog Pudsey – as she held her finger out to instruct her canine Prince.

Britain’s Got Talent airs this Saturday on ITV at 7.15pm.

Simon Cowell Delighted To Have Cheryl Cole – And Not Gary Barlow – On X Factor Panel

Many TV viewers think Gary Barlow was the best thing about the last three years of The X Factor. But try telling that to Simon Cowell.

He’s simply delighted he’ll have Cheryl Cole alongside him on the panel of the hit show this year instead of the Take That star.

“The truth is, and I am not being rude, I wouldn’t hire him to run my record label,” says Cowell, making it more than clear he is not Barlow’s biggest fan.

“Essentially that is what you are doing on The X Factor. You have got to be wide-eyed and Cheryl, one of the main reasons she is coming back is she is good at that.

In this NEW interview Simon says he hopes Louis Walsh will return to the panel and who the fourth judge might be. He also hasn’t ruled out returning to the USA.

“When the time is right I will go back to America,” he says. “I have already been offered two shows over there.” “They still like me.”
